I am producing a 7 city tour this summer for which I will need Hotels with sleeping rooms and over 7500 sq ft of meeting space as well as a number of other vendors within each city.
For this tour, I decided to try out the Get It Planet Premium Plus service, and I was truly amazed at how much of my sourcing work Get It Planet quickly got done for me. I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to use this great service! The sheer number of properties reached would have taken me weeks instead of only a few days.
I had been a free planner member with Get It planet for a few years now. The reason I use it is that I only have to write my RFP’s one time, and with a few mouse clicks, I can invite all my vendors to bid. The vendors all submit bids to me in the format I need and prefer, through Get It Planet’s awesome RFP system. The best part of receiving RFP’s in the system is the ease of comparing exactly what each bid covers. And every year after that, my RFP’s are saved, so I just do a brief modification, a few mouse clicks, and I’m off and running!
I can also send my RFP’s to any vendor I want, so if I am trying a new vendor, or if I want to try one of Get It Planet’s approved vendors, I can send my RFP to them as well. |
